How training at home works

  1. Talk first. On the free 15-minute Fit Call, discuss your goals, experience, limitations, location and weekly schedule.
  2. Agree the logistics. Confirm session length, frequency, total price, travel, cancellation terms and access before committing.
  3. Prepare your space. A living room, garage, patio or permitted residential fitness center can work. Check safe flooring, room to move and temperature; outdoor summer heat may require a different setting.
  4. Train with Dave. Portable equipment or your existing gym equipment supports coached strength and movement work. Progress guides adjustments, not a one-size-fits-all session.

Privacy and less travel — without pretending every home is a gym

In-home sessions remove your trip to a facility and give you a private setting. A gym can be a better option if you need equipment or space your home does not provide. Dave helps you weigh those trade-offs rather than promising the same setup everywhere.

Las Vegas, Summerlin and Henderson

Ask about your exact address and desired times. For gated communities, condo and high-rise gyms, arrange trainer permissions, guest entry and parking. A location inside the service area still needs a workable route and appointment time.

Who this is — and is not — for

This is for adults seeking private, individually coached training, including busy professionals and people restarting. Dave brings 25+ years of coaching experience as stated in his practice. This is not an unlimited drop-in class, a medical service or a guarantee of a particular result. Tell Dave about pain and obtain clinician clearance when indicated.

Compare your options before committing

See the Las Vegas private-training overview and questions for choosing the right personal trainer. Ask for current in-home terms; do not assume a gym-only introductory package includes home visits.

Questions before you start

Will Dave come to my home in Las Vegas?

Yes. Dave Vaughan offers private in-home and on-site personal training through Forget The Gym in Las Vegas, Summerlin and Henderson. Confirm your exact location, access arrangements and available times on the free 15-minute Fit Call.

Do I need a home gym or lots of space?

A full home gym is not required. Dave can bring portable equipment and work with equipment you already own. Discuss your available floor space, surface and equipment before the first session so the location and exercises are appropriate.

Can we use my condo or high-rise fitness center?

A residential gym can work if it permits an outside trainer and the space is suitable. Check building rules, guest access, parking and equipment availability first. Dave confirms the arrangements with you; facility access is not automatically included.

Which areas do you serve, and is travel included?

The core service area is Las Vegas, Summerlin and Henderson. Ask about your specific neighborhood, travel arrangements and any applicable travel costs before agreeing to sessions. A service-area listing does not guarantee an opening at every location or time.

What happens in the first session?

You discuss your goals, training history, limitations and equipment, then begin appropriate coached movement. Dave uses that starting point to plan your training and adjust it as you progress. This is fitness coaching, not a medical diagnosis or treatment.

How much does private in-home training cost?

Ask Dave for a quote matched to your location, session format and frequency. Confirm the total cost, travel, session duration and cancellation terms before booking. Gym-based introductory offers should not be assumed to apply to in-home training.

Is this suitable if I am restarting or have an injury?

Beginners and people returning after time away can discuss a gradual starting point. Tell Dave about pain or restrictions before training and obtain clinician clearance when indicated. Training does not replace physical therapy or medical care.
